Happy Trails

Have you ever wondered what it might have been like living in the old west? Cowboys were often away from home for days at a time, and they could only try and capture so many meals � sometimes a cowboy would even starve on the open road without food. So, what did they do in order to survive? Most cowboys were met along the road by covered wagons, also known as �chuck wagons� that carried portable food � kind of like an old west version of a canteen. There is only one place in the world where chuck wagons still exist, and that place is Breckenridge.

Sign your family up for a real western adventure with the �Happy Trails� dinner and show program. The Happy Trails company operates during the summer months, and you are sure to never forget this adventure. Meet the Happy Trails bandits at a pre-determined destination and enjoy cowboy roping, wagon activities, and family entertainment including Duke Davis & The Buckshot Band. When you hear that dinner bell ring, head out into the open pasture and experience food the way the old west made it. Your cuisines will include steak, chicken, beans, corn on the cob, green salad, cornbread, apple pie, cowboy coffee and tenderfoot lemonade.

The Happy Trails show begins at 5 pm and runs �til all hours of the night. All food is cooked on an open fire, and these chefs know how to make anything taste like chicken � don�t worry, it is chicken. Bring your kids, your spouse, and your sense of adventure.
