The Life of Leisure

Why do people seek out spas across the world? Sure, spas offer head to toe treatments, and massages that can melt stress away with the touch of a fingertip, but it is more than those simple things. Spas offer a sanctuary, a place that is slightly out of touch with reality. As your body is being transformed with treatments, wraps, and facials, your mind is allowed to leave the candlelit space and float to another plateau. With the vast variety of spas that Breckenridge offers its visitors, your tired soul is sure to find a quiet, little slice of serenity within these mountainous walls.

The Lodge and Spa at Breckenridge has a spa menu that lists hundreds of perfectly perfected treatments for every inch of your aching skin. After a day on the slopes what better cure for wind burned skin than a caviar facial? While silky smooth beads of caviar are rubbed into your skin, the natural elements that abound within this delicacy will rejuvenate your body and will give your skin that sought after healthy glow. And nobody understands a healthy glow better than a woman who is expecting a baby. At The Lodge and Spa, even pregnant women can enjoy a treat when they opt for the pre-natal massage that will help to relax any weary body.

For an entirely different sot of spa, the Blue Sage Spa offers treatments like no other spa in town or on earth. Although the Blue Sage does offer every usual spa treatment (massage, facial, manicure, pedicure) it specializes in the unusual. Coming close to being bathed in diamonds, this spa offers a special Cabernet Wine Bath. You will literally be bathed in a bath of Cabernet, no doubt absorbing all of its fruity qualities, after which you will be scrubbed with a Cabernet wine scrub. The aim of these special wine treatments is to utilize all of the antioxidants and purifiers that are found naturally within red wine. If you have more a sweet tooth, indulge in the spas chocolate body scrub, which will leave you feeling irresistible.

Other types of treatment facilities located within Breckenridge include Oasis 9600 Movement and Wellness Center (offering Pilates, physical therapy, and gyrotronic training), Sacred Tree (a holistic health care facility), and Breckenridge Acupuncture (acupuncture and other oriental treatments). Whether you desire traditional spa treatments, or want to try something truly out of the ordinary, Breckenridges many different spa options await your senses.
