There is a lot to do in Breckenridge, so when you plan your trip it can get a little overwhelming. There is a lot of research to be done to make sure to find a great place to stay and fit in all the activities that you would like to do. The first thing you should decide is when to visit. The two peak seasons are from January to March and from late June to Early September. The holidays are also a popular time to visit. If you go during another time, you will find better rates on your accommodations as well as other great deals. April is a great time to go because you will find great deals and you can still ski as well. Summer is also a great time to go. Breckenridge is a laid back town so you can dress casual for the whole trip. When it comes to paying for everything, credit cards are accepted pretty much anywhere, and there are also ATM machines. Most of the lodging is conveniently located near Main Street and the mountain and there is free transportation around town. There are also other parts of Summit County to visit, and the Summit Stage transit system makes it easy to get anywhere. The county is also smoke-free, so you cant smoke at indoor public places. The best times to grocery shop are before 11 a.m. and after 8 p.m. The best time to go out to eat is right at 5 p.m. and after 8 p.m.
